Finished "Fools Make The Rules" over the weekend. Ryan added bass and harmonies and we added gang vox to the end. It'll be going on Dancing Days. Here's the final version: http://soundcloud.com/bicycle-man/fools-make-the-rules-2
Wrote and recorded this today: http://soundcloud.com/bicycle-man/exhalation
Also, I'm sick and wrote an instrumental about it. It'll probably end up on Yawns Beyond. This is the fist-pumping anthem that the germs are taking over to: http://soundcloud.com/bicycle-man/germ-triumph
More to come, I think we're tracking some new stuff on Sunday. Also playing acoustic this Saturday @ Creature's Creating, a new gallery on Queen. Here's the event: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=233792593335262

Happy Labour Day
He used the American spelling, but this peice articulates some of the vague suspicions I've had for a few years now but haven't been able to articulate because I was too busy working: http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/the-last-labor-day/2011/09/04/gIQA11Ob2J_story.html
Played a decent show at the Dollar last Saturday. Good job boys.
I am situated in a new place where creativity seems to bounce off the walls. I'm working on a mixtape at the moment, a mixtape in the hip hop sense of the format - a bunch of songs, song ideas, instrumentals, covers, and remixes that will precede the next major release, Dancing Days. I think it will work both as a stopgap release to satisfy the roar of my clamouring fans - or, more accurately, the roar rising at me from the void telling me to make things, songs chief among them. There are ten songs finished for this tape, and there will be more to come. In all likelihood this mixtape will be finished before the Hosehead release, so look out for it. When it's done, you'll be the first to know. Or I guess I'll be the first to know because I decide when it's done. I think it'll be called Roll From The Hole That Holds You.
This is also happening in a few weeks: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=246057538763688
Coolio?
